April 20 - 26 Training

Monday: 26.2 miles (8:10).  Boston Marathon, 3:33:38. GPS had 26.43 miles, so it was probably closer to an 8:06 pace.
Tuesday: 2 miles (9:55). Recovery run.
Wednesday: 2 miles (9:24).  Recovery run.  Quads starting to recover from Boston.
Thursday: 6 miles (9:20).  Quads improving.
Friday: 4 miles (9:16).
Saturday: 13.1 miles (8:49).  Felt nearly 100% this morning and ran the Country Music Half Marathon on an "easy" pace, 1:55:28.  The hills felt pretty easy after running Boston on Monday.
Sunday: 4 miles (9:15), 3 miles (9:40).  Both legs and feet felt really good today. I feel like I'm nearly 100% after Boston.

This week's medals:



Total miles: 60.3 miles.  I haven't done both a marathon and half in the same week since the Goofy challenge at Disney back in January of 2014.  I feel pretty recovered from Boston, but expect a pretty easy week coming up.  4 weeks until the Hendersonville Classic 15K.  On Monday, it will be exactly 5 months to the Berlin Marathon (Sep. 27th).
